ProSource Ankle Weights Review

ProSource Ankle Weights Like many of their competitors ProSource Ankle Weights come in a range of weights. In this case from One pound to 5 pounds per side.

To be clear, these ProSource Ankle Weights are NOT adjustable, in terms of weight per side. To vary the weight you use, you will need to have a series of sets available.

You will see them described as “adjustable”, but in this product they are talking about ” adjustable comfort fit” only. That means that the weight will stay constant but you can adjust the fit.

Thanks to the good snug fit, and high comfort levels, once you have fitted them properly, they do not wiggle about as you exercise like some of the other cheaper weights.

The construction is sturdy which means you are unlikely to find the pockets failing and the sand spilling out. That is a common issue with less expensive ankle weights.

If you are at a level where the higher weights suit you, a few weeks of workouts will make a notable difference. The extra exertion on the glutes and legs will build strength much faster than the lighter weights. Whatever strength level you are up to, using these ankle weights will instantly add   intensity to your workouts. This means you will be toning and my sculpting muscles faster than you can without them.

ProSource Ankle Weights are color coded

When buying your weights use the product color as a guide. Green (1 pound per side) Pink (1.5 Pound)  Grey (2 Pound) Purple (2.5 pound) Blue (3 Pound) and Black (5 pound).

With the ProSource Ankle Weights, you will see see faster results in a variety of workout routines. Use them for lunges, muscle building and jumping. They are also good with the leg lifting exercises and the various calorie burning movements.

We would recommend these for someone who wants to add an extra challenge to their regular workouts. You can also even use them after injury, under the direction of your physical therapist.

If you prefer to change weights, rather than remove weight pouches ( as with adjustable weights) this range is excellent. The color coding system with ProSource Ankle weights uses very distinctive colors. This means you can quickly get the weigh level you desire, and never have mis-matched weights on different sides by accident.

You will find that the adjustable Velcro straps and loop closure, give you a firm, comfortable fit. So, you will not worry about these ankle weights slipping or moving around when you are working out.

I think ProSource combine most of the features you need when looking for an ankle weight. These include good fit, comfort, softness, secure fastening, color coding and multiple weight choices. They are also durable.

ProSource offer a lifetime warranty on manufacture defects.

You might find that these ankle weights are too big for use on the wrists, otherwise the quality is fine and they are also available for a good price.
